Why we brought WeeDo to North America
There are three of us. We have six kids between us, we ski and snowboard as families every winter, and we've spent more than fifty years working in the snow and action sports industry.
None of which helped with the actual problem. Every autumn, another set of snowsuits — our kids outgrew them long before they wore them out, and most of what we could find wasn't built well enough to last the season anyway.
Then we found WeeDo, and tested it the only way that counts: on our own kids, before we sold a single one. It kept fitting. The snaps in the sleeves and legs let it out as they grew, and it came through the winter in good enough shape to hand down.
Nobody was bringing it to North America. So in 2021, we did.
The part that isn't ours
WeeDo is designed in Germany by Antje Risau, who came to children's outerwear after twenty years in the fashion industry.
The monsters, the unicorns, the dinosaur spikes down the back — those are hers. So is the decision to build a grow system into a snowsuit rather than treating it as a seasonal purchase.
We don't design the suits. We choose which ones come to North America, we make sure they arrive, and we're the ones you talk to when something needs sorting.

We love Weedo snowsuits. This is our third one!
It's very good quality, keeps the kids warm (and dry) and has such fun designs. The kids always get compliments when we're out snowboarding. Can't wait for our kid to use this one this winter season.

This is the second WeeDo snowsuit we have purchased.
They are excellent quality and the fit is great for our kids. We now have two monsters. Can't say enough about how perfect all the details you had thought of and how well it is designed for little kids.

You'll be talking to a person
There are three of us. When you email, it reaches one of us — not a ticket queue and not a chatbot.
If a suit needs fixing, we'd rather help you fix it than sell you another one. We can usually source spare parts from Germany, and if something turns out to be a manufacturing fault we'll cover the repair.
That's easy to promise when there are three of you, and it's most of the reason we're in no hurry to be bigger.
